Operational support – helping companies ‘do the day job’. Troubleshooting manufacturing problems – ingredients, processing, packaging, advising on hygienic design and maintenance, supporting implementation of systems such as HACCP and risk management, and helping with product development.
Research and Innovation – industrially relevant research chosen and funded by members, as well as work for government departments and agencies.
Knowledge Management – industrial best practice guideline publications, a wide range of training courses, seminars and conferences, and expert technical and legislation information and advice.
Scottish Bakers was established in 1891 and represents and promotes the interests of the bakery trade in Scotland.
As well as being a long-term sponsor of this key industry body, CyBake is Scottish Bakers’ preferred bakery software partner. Watch out for the special bakery management workshops we hold with the organisation.
Craft Bakers Association
The Craft Bakers’ Association (CBA) was formed in 1887 and currently represents 600 members and 2,000 shops throughout the UK.
As well as being an official supporter of the CBA, CyBake exhibits at each annual conference and we regularly attend its other events. The CBA Yorkshire Region’s annual dinner dance is a particularly favourite fixture in the CyBake team’s diary.
British Society of Baking
The British Society of Baking (BSB) was founded in 1955 as an affiliate of the American Society of Bakery Engineers.
Its purpose is to provide a forum for learning more about the industry through conferences and events, together with networking and the exchange of ideas between members. CyBake is an official associate member and we attend both of the BSB’s key conferences each year.
